New York-based alternative rock band Blue Lush first hit my radar in September through their healing track Save Me. Their new one is bringing similar positive vibes. It’s called So I’m Sorry.

So I’m Sorry explores the topic of grief. Perhaps on the surface that might not seem a positive thing, but the band approach it with a maturity that feels uplifting. A driving bassline sets the tempo while soaring vocals tell an emotional journey that leads seamlessly into a memorable chorus. There’s a sense of classic rock about it, but with a modern edge. This is rock reinvented.
