Jeremy M is a York-based alternative pop singer songwriter who first came to my attention in August thanks to his darkly emotive track Boys Don’t Cry. Now he’s back with a new one that explores the concept of childhood loss. It’s called gone forever.

I commented before on the realness of Jeremy’s lyrics and gone forever continues along these line. The track is intimate, with visceral storytelling that doesn’t flinch away from life’s shadows. His vocals are particularly compelling in this track too, especially during a soaring chorus. Production comes from Russian producer George Porlemad, who captures the emotion of the track beautifully.
Gone forever is another powerful track from a local artist who is certainly one to watch. Jeremy’s debut EP is now set for release in 2023 and you can check out the single gone forever below.
