I originally discovered Parisian jazz collective Who Parked The Car for the blog in February of this year thanks to their delicate track W&G. They followed it up over the Summer with an album release, Mad Weather, Good Friends which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m glad to say they’re back. Their latest is called Can’t Get Over You.

Can’t Get Over You opens joyously with percussion, piano and soulful vocals. Yet, despite its bright feel, the track is a heart-breaker. Lyrically it speaks of unrequited love, beautifully emoted by singer Laura Wamba. As the track progresses we get subtle jazzy transitions. It’s a track that never gets boring.
Who Parked The Car mix influences from contemporary jazz like Snarky Puppy with pop like Bruno Mars, as well as vintage acts like Weather Report. If you’re a fan of any of those artists, it’s high time you heard Who Parked The Car. You can listen to Can’t Get Over You below.
