New York, USA-based singer songwriter Emmrose featured on our blog a few times last year, capturing our hearts through her intimate style and emotional song writing. She rounded off 2022 with her dedication to the holiday period. It’s called Cuffing Season.

‘Cuffing Season’ is that time of year where the long, cold nights draw in and those who find themselves alone seek out romantic company to keep them warm in the winter months. As such, this track is suitably romantic, but with an undertow of cynicism. As ever, it’s Emmrose’s astute lyrics that truly set her apart from her contemporaries.

The track is more evidence of why Emmrose is one to watch out for. It’s been just two years since the release of her debut EP, so I just know there’s a lot more to come from her.
