I’m sure we all had moments during lockdown where we let escapism take us over, and that’s exactly the feeling that Margo articulates in Astronaut. Imagining her ceiling is an infinite starry-sky, she gets lost in an imaginative space adventure, rendered beautifully through a dreamy and experimental instrumental arrangement and her charismatic vocals.
Inspired by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Arlo Parks and David Bowie, Margo has been studying music for two years. I strongly suspect there’s a lot more to come from her and I’m excited to hear it. You can check out Astronaut below.
