New Music: Burning Juniper – Staring At The Ceiling

London-based rock outfit Burning Juniper has featured a couple of times on the blog since I first discovered them last summer. They never fail to impress with their brand of anthemic alternative rock. Their latest, Staring At The Ceiling, is no exception.

Staring At the Ceiling shows an emotive side to the Burning Juniper sound. At its heart it’s melancholic, but bright, jangly guitar riffs and lively percussion inject some vibrancy while the passionate vocals are showstopping. It’s yet more evidence that the band are hot prospects in the UK indie scene.

We’re not the only ones to think so. Since releasing their debut single last year, they’ve been picked up by BBC Radio London’s Jess Izsatt and Radio X’s John Kennedy. Now’s the perfect time to get on board with Burning Juniper. You can check out Staring At The Ceiling below.
