SHN is a Malaysian electro pop artist who I first discovered for our blog at the end of 2021. Over the last year, she’s taken a little rest from releasing music, but has now made a triumphant return. Her latest is an ode to being a young adult. It’s called 27 in a 7-Eleven.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I found 27 to be an awkward period of my life, and it’s a sentiment beautifully captured by SHN in her new track. Told with some fantastically relatable storytelling lyrics, 27 in a 7-Eleven feels a little bittersweet. On one hand it’s pensive and contemplative, while on the other it’s bright, bold, unabashed indie pop.
I’m pleased to welcome SHN back to our blog and I can’t wait to hear what she does next. You can listen to 27 in a 7-Eleven below.
