Dutch indie-folk singer songwriter Sven Ross has appeared on our blog a couple of times now, most recently in November last year with his single between you and me. Now he’s back with a brand new track that rails against internalised capitalism. It’s called a world we believe in.

If you’ve ever felt pressure to be constantly achieving because of the fear of being left behind, a world we believe in is for you. Its story is told through a gentle and melancholic acoustic pop arrangement, beautifully brought to life with Sven’s soul-drenching vocals.

Though outward-facing, there is a personal story for Sven in this track. It’s dedicated to his girlfriend who prompted him to begin ruminating on the topic. A world we believe in features on Sven’s upcoming EP now that i’m with you which is set for release on 3 March. You can check out the single below.
