New Music: Paytron Saint – Mirror

I first discovered Belper rock trio Paytron Saint for the blog near the end of last year through their ode to escapism Possibly Honest. Their latest is all about looking back and the value of reflection. It’s called Mirror.

Mirror opens with a tinge of psychedelic rock that wouldn’t be out of place in the ’90s during its ’60s revival phase. The track hits a groovy stride that it revels in before we reach its first verse where pleading vocals tell a tale of looking inward and finding yourself.

Fiercely independent, Paytron Saint record their music in their own studio, nicknamed The Chicken Coop. They’ve already caught the attention of Absolute Radio’s Frank Skinner and YMX’s Gabriel Mazza. If you’re a fan of classic rock, then Mirror is definitely one for you. You can check it out below.
