Nicole Saphos Band burst onto my radar at the end of last month when I first heard their track Keepin’ Eyes. Now the Philadelphia, USA-based alternative rock outfit led by the eponymous Nicole are back with a new one. It’s called More.

More was inspired by ’70s California singer songwriters like Warren Zevon and Jackson Browne and there is certainly a touch of the old school about it. A light and breezy groovy greets you from the off before Nicole’s captivating vocals come in. Lyrically it’s introspective but feels utterly relatable. Joining Nicole on the track is Ele Rubenstein on drums and bass and John Lee on guitar.
