Los Angeles, USA-based acoustic folk pop singer songwriter Gal Musette (real name Grace Freeman) first featured on our blog back in 2021 with her bittersweet ode to summer, Summertime. Now I’m pleased to say she’s back with a new one that creates excitement out of monotony. It’s called Plateau.

Plateau is a wonderfully inventive track. It combines indie pop traditions with electronic experimentation to create a sound that feels completely fresh. What’s familiar, though, is Grace’s beautiful vocals, as compelling and hypnotic as I remember them to be.

It’s a welcome return from an exciting singer songwriter that I can’t get enough of. Her second album Pendulum is set for release in June and I can’t wait to hear it! You can check out Plateau below.
