Danish dream pop duo LINEBUG have featured on our blog before, but not since 2020, a year that now feels like ancient history. At the time, the world was gripped by fear caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and we were mostly in lockdown, and it’s in this time that her new track Beijing is set.

Beijing was inspired by the moment that stars became clearly visible in urban environments thanks to the lack of pollution that was a result of lockdowns. The story is beautifully poetic, in true LINEBUG style, and its imagery will dance in your head, much like its waltzing melody.
