Bryden is a London-based indie pop and alternative rock act who I’ve just discovered for the blog thanks his track and video focussing on a doomed love affair. It’s called Blood.

Blood opens with a dreamy, R&B-infused arrangement, reminiscent of the likes of Frank Ocean before it hits a soft rock groove. The star of the show is bryden’s vocals. Beautifully smooth and soulful, they deliver complex and poetic lyrics that bring forth the heartache of the track’s story.

The track will feature on bryden’s upcoming EP The Rites. A reference to occultism, expect literary and mystic references aplenty from the EP.
