London-based dream pop artist Frank Joshua first featured on our blog as part of Jane’s Monthly Favourites round up last summer. Now it’s my turn to run the rule over his music thanks to his new track and video Bluebell Wood.

With a gently ambient intro that spills into a Bond-esque arrangement that then further develops into retro pop, Bluebell Wood is a track that’s not easily categorizable when it comes to genre. What’s certain is that Frank’s vocals are captivatingly smooth and emotive, and the story of its lyrics will have you hooked.

The track will feature on Frank’s upcoming third album. Based on the evidence of Bluebell Wood, it’ll be an album full of surprises.
