Hampi is an Edinburgh-based alternative rock artist who I first discovered for this blog in January thanks to his track Big Love. Now I’m pleased to say he’s back with a remix of his first ever single Devil’s Moon.

The remix creates a trance reimagining of the original, feeling at once a nice throwback to the genre’s ’90s peak and something completely fresh and experimental. The arrangement broods, taking its time through a slow-building intro before exploding with pulsating bass. It feels quite different to Big Love but I’m down for it.
Born in the Scottish Highlands, Hampi has travelled the world and is now based in Edinburgh. I love what he’s bringing to the UK scene right now. He’s one to watch out for. You can check out the remix of Devil’s Moon below.
