Coffee is the latest single from Clean Cut Kid’s Evelyn Hall’s solo project Pet Snake. It’s an intimate and personal track, meditating on a manipulative relationship, that comes complete with a video.

Ev intends Coffee to be “an anthem for anyone who has felt like they’ve been tricked into intimacy and left feeling small and disposable” so you know it’s going to have a heightened sense of emotion. Yet, it’s not a song that wallows in its own pity, rather it’s heartbreakingly relatable, beautifully written and a melancholic yet bright indie rock arrangement.
