Stoke-on-Trent-based indie rock band Camens have featured on the blog a couple of times before, most recently as part of Jane’s Northern Favourites round up in June last year (cue debate about what’s considered “northern”.) Now they’re back with a wonderfully storytelling new track. It’s called Jacket Weather.

Jacket Weather hits you straight away with its lively and emotive brand of indie rock. Charismatic lyrics tell a story of youthful abandon, and the dawning of Spring – something I’m sure we’re all looking forward to right now! It’s just the pick-me-up you need to get you through the rest of the week.

Camens have been featured on Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, and have supported the likes of Black Kids here in the UK. They’re definitely ones to watch out for on the underground rock scene. You can take a listen to Jacket Weather below.
