Bristol-based singer, songwriter and producer Kaya Street has only just come to my attention but he’s already been championed by the likes of Don Letts on BBC Radio 6. Delivering a mix of dub reggae, soul, trip hop and afrobeat, his latest is called Glow.

Glow shows the more intimate side of Kaya Street’s music with stripped back instrumentals and spoken word vocals. Elegant piano meets filthy bass in an arrangement that is difficult to pigeon-hole genre-wise. Whatever you want to call it, it’s definitely an exciting sound.
