Kat Koan is an artist based in Berlin. By day she is a TV producer but outside of work she is passionate about music and visuals. She’s just caught my attention through her new alternative rock pop cover of Kylie Minogue’s Slow.

For her version of Slow, Kat started with Kylie’s energy and took it in grittier direction, giving us this moody rock tribute to hitting the dancefloor. She has made the song her own to such an extent, it took me a beat or two to even realise it was a cover upon first listen.

Kat started her musical journey as a song writer for other artists in 2017, from there she took up the mic herself and found herself working with the likes of David Lynch’s sound supervisor Dean Hurley. Personally, I’m so excited to have discovered her music and I hope you will be too. You can listen to Kat’s cover of Slow below.
