Regular readers of this blog will be growing very familiar with the work of Welsh experimental artist Bethan Lloyd by now. Since discovering her at the beginning of this year, we’ve been avid fans and this is her fourth release we’re sharing. Coming complete with a video, it’s called Parasitic Yes.

Parasitic Yes is track that combines ’90s dance and trance sensibilities with experimental tribal beats. It feels like an empowering chant, and a call to action. It’s a primal scream that says “enough is enough” and you can’t help but feel along with it.

The track features, alongside previous singles we’ve shared, on Bethan’s new album Metamorphosis which is out now. Based on the evidence so far, it’s an album that is absolutely not to be missed.
