Band Spectra, real name Robert Manning, is an Chichester-based dream pop artist who has just hit our radar thanks to his team up with New York, USA-born and London-based vocalist Angelica Allen. It’s called Stars Seem Eternal and comes complete with a video.

Stars Seem Eternal is all about escape, regret and fear so it’s a suitable mix of hope and sadness. Opening with some ’80s style synth power chords, Angelica’s voice provides a soothing balm as the track canters through its first verse. The lovely animated video takes its inspiration from Raymond Briggs’s The Snowman.

The track is the third single release from Robert’s upcoming debut album. Production comes from Robert and mixing from Dave Sanderson.
