Norway-based Crave are a rock band who have just caught my attention thanks to the bluesy, classic rock sound of their latest track In The Shadow of the Moon.

In the Shadow of the Moon opens with a delicious bass lick before launching into a slow groove with fuzzy guitar and passionate vocals. There’s a touch of Black Sabbath about it, so I wasn’t surprised to discover that the track, along with the band’s debut album Oblivion on which it appears, was mixed and mastered by George Neratzis, who has also worked with Gus G from Ozzy Osbourne.

Crave are Tron Sturle Aune, Nils Morten Beitnes, Jan Arild Rostad and Kjetil Krangsås.
