Phoenix, USA-based rock outfit Jane N’ The Jungle have been making regular appearances on our blog since our Jane discovered them for us back in 2018. Since then, she’s covered plenty of their track, and even posed them some questions in an interview. Yet, somehow I’ve not had the pleasure of reviewing their music. That is until now thanks to their new track and video Wasteland.

Wasteland opens slow and brooding with ambient wind and a haunting guitar riff. Expressive vocals come in, giving us an emotive, classic rock style before an explosive chorus urges the listener to bang their head. Wasteland is familiar yet devastating alternative rock.

As well as our support, Jane N’ The Jungle have been championed by the likes of MTV, Spotify, Apple Music and across the blogosphere. They’re also endorsed by Gibson Guitars. The hype is definitely justified. Jane N’ The Jungle are giving accomplished and soulful hard rock.
