Roleplay is the project of Swede Anna Kristoferson, who now bases herself in the UK. She’s featured on the blog once before, in 2021 when I ran the rule over her second ever single My Sun. It’s been awhile but now she’s back on these pages with a new one. It’s called Come Close.

Come Close is a track that instantly gets you moving with its irresistible disco groove. Anna’s vocals are wonderfully dreamy and ethereal. It’s pop but elevated, drawing inspiration from legends like Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Max Martin.
