London-based singer songwriter Neve Bowen first hit my radar in March this year thanks to her track Song for Anna. A month later she followed it up with Deep Blue Ocean and now I’m pleased to share another new one of hers. It’s called Haunting Sound Of Love.
By Graeme Smith
Neve isn’t afraid to go deep with her music, with previous tracks exploring mental health issues like depression and anxiety. Haunting Sound Of Love explores the mental impact of an abusive relationship and the loneliness it creates. The story is delivered through an acoustic guitar arrangement and Neve’s soulful and compelling vocals. Be warned, she’ll have you feeling every note.
It’s another strong release from an artist who started her music career at the age of fifteen during lockdown. I feel like there’s a lot more to come from Neve.
