See How is a London-based producer who has just hit my radar thanks to his break up track Can’t Be Me.
By Graeme Smith
See How is better known as one half of electronic production duo Pariis Opera House who have been picked up by the likes of BBC Introducing, Lauren Laverne, Tom Robinson and Nemone. Can’t Be Me marks the debut of his solo project that brings together a la mode genres including hyperpop, UK garage and hip hop.
There’s a chilled groove to Can’t Be Me, with laidback vocals delivering cutting and quick-fire vocals against a percussive electronic arrangement. It’s a track that demands you move to it, while also being rich in emotion. It’s clear that See How knows his onions when it comes to contemporary yet bleeding-edge pop.
