Waking Dreams are a Berlin, Germany-based pop rock act who, having returned from a three-year hiatus, have burst onto our radar with their ’80s inspired track and video For You.

For You is a track that gets you moving straight away with its blues-infused rock. Soft, ethereal vocals contrast nicely with its lowdown and grungy guitar arrangement and there’s something wonderfully classic about it all. Waking Dreams have drawn comparison with the likes of Teenage Fanclub, Blondie and Annie Lennox, and fans of any of those artists will find a lot to love about For You.

Waking Dreams are Jason Letkiewicz on instrumentals and Angela Chambers on vocals. Since their last album, both have been taking on solo projects, but we’re certainly glad they’ve come back together. For You is a stonker. You can check out its video below.
