Au-Turn is the new solo project of New Fast Automatic Daffodils’ guitarist Dolan Hewison. The Manchester-based indie pop and rock artist has just caught my attention thanks to his return to music after a 25-year hiatus. His new single is called I Walk In Capitals.

There’s something wonderfully unique about I Walk In Capitals. At once it draws from the classic Hacienda scene that Dolan was once part of and something altogether different. Its moody and descriptive narrative, sung by Tracey Godding, alludes to lockdown and the unusual but freeing feeling that came from it.
