Connor Leckenby is a Leeds-based alternative rock and pop artist who has just hit my radar thanks to his new track that anyone who has ever suffered from anxiety will appreciate. It’s called Who I Want To Be.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Paramore, Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party, Who I Want To Be is a lively, punchy pop rock track with compelling vocals and relatable lyrics. A staccato verse gives with to a big, sweeping chorus that demands to be sung along to. In Who I Want To Be, Connor combines emotional storytelling with uplifting instrumentals so powerfully.
