London-based alternative pop artist Amie Jay has featured on our blog once before. Last summer we ran the rule over her delightful debut EP Cancer Sun so it’s great to welcome her back with a new single Miss Being In Love.

Amie’s new single explores the complexity of love. Delving into the hurt of past relationships, she contemplates how it complicates the excitement of new love, leaving you in an emotional no-man’s-land. Musically, it captures this dichotomy well, with melancholic chords blending with a bright groove. As always, it’s Amie’s vocals that are the stand out – beautifully compelling.
