Bridlington-based The Hilder have featured on our blog a few times now, going back to July 2021 when they made Jane’s Underground Indie Rock round up. More recently, I featured their track A.M.C. and now they’re back with a brand new singalong one called Flipside.

Flipside opens with echoing guitar and charismatic vocals. It’s a bold, anthemic track that would play as nicely on a summer festival stage as it would in your garden indie rock playlist on a Summer day. I’ve said it before, but it’s fantastic that we have such a strong band based just up the road from us on the Yorkshire coast.
