Canadian indie pop artist Jenny Kern first hit our radar in 2021 thanks to her track Run. It’s been a couple of years now since we last shared her music so I was excited when I discovered her latest Move On.

As you might guess from the title, Move On is a track about letting go. Delivered through delicate electronica and emotive vocals, it’s a track that’s compelling through its vulnerability. Through the heartbreak, though, there’s an empowering message of loving oneself before anyone else.

Before focussing on music full-time, Jenny worked in the film industry. She’s worked with Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig, and produced film and TV.
