Bertie Newman is a London-based acoustic folk singer songwriter who has just caught my attention thanks to his vulnerable new track that explores the isolating feeling brought about by his ADHD. It’s called Home.

It’s a track that explores the comforting thought of home, particular during anxious times, and Bertie brings the warmth of that thought to life contrasted against cold and unwelcoming circumstances. Home is a truly heart-rendering track, with its emotion delivered through soulful vocals and delicate acoustic guitar with electronic undertones. Bertie takes inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver and Hozier, and fans of those artists will find a lot to love about his music.
Home features on Bertie’s EP Thoughts So Loud which is also out now. You can listen to the single below.
