Canadian indie dance artist Miles Away first came to our attention at the end of last year thanks to his team up with Danni Carra called Back To Sleep. We’ve featured him a couple more times since then, and I’m pleased to share his latest, Two Halves of a Heart.

Two Halves of a Heart is, as you might guess, about love. It’s a sequel to Miles Away’s 2020 track Bring Me Back and tells the story of accepting that’s it’s OK to move on. The lyrics are bittersweet, with an instrumental arrangement that mixes hopeful notes with a touch of melancholy. The vocals are, as ever, wonderfully soulful and compelling, especially in its explosive crescendos.

The track is the final song on Miles Away’s second EP The Space Between Two Halves of a Heart, set for release on 7 July. You can give it a listen below.
