Colleen Rennison is a Vancouver, Canada-based soul and R&B artist who has just come to my attention thanks to her new track and video that tell the tale of a summer crush. It’s called I Do.

Opening with a laidback bass riff and overtures of strings, I Do instantly paints a sultry and romantic picture. Then Colleen’s powerful and passionate vocals come in and you, as the listener, are totally hooked. The track has a rich emotional landscape and a timeless sound that should appeal to just about anyone.

I Do is the second single taken from Colleen’s upcoming Felix Fung produced album Persephone, set for release later this year. You can watch the track’s video below.
