It was just about a year ago when New York City, USA-based alternative pop singer songwriter Goldie Scott first came to my attention thanks to her disco-infused track Mista Mystery. Now she’s back with a new track and video that brings a modern twist to classic rock and roll. It’s called Sea of Love.

Sea of Love has a wonderfully dreamy and throwback feel about it, but its lyrical story feels very in touch with the modern age. It’s a story of love and heartbreak told through Goldie’s powerful and charismatic vocals. I’ve been missing her sound. It’s great to have her back on the blog.
