Middlesborough-based pop artist Jay Moussa-Mann has appeared on our blog a few times now, starting from last summer when she featured in Jane’s Northern Favourites round up. Jane followed that up with an interview. I then covered Jay’s self-titled album earlier this year. Her latest is a trip down memory lane and it’s called Indiana Tonight.

The “Indiana” in the track’s title is the one and only Indiana Jones, a film character that Jay admits to having a crush on as a teenager. Yet, it wasn’t just about wanting him, it was wanting to be him. It’s this premise that Jay brings to the story of Indiana Tonight, one that’s delivered through a mix of classic rock and modern pop. As ever, Jay’s vocals are a beautifully soft and compelling highlight.
