German producer Mflux and his collaborators have been featuring on this blog since 2020 and I always get excited when I see he has a new track out. His latest sees him paired again with singer Kiku. Coming complete with a video, it’s called Love & Hate.

Love & Hate brings the lively, fresh energy that we’ve come to expect from Mflux, but, as the title suggests, there’s also a deep emotional story running through it. It’s a tale of heartbreak and betrayal, delivered against a backdrop of urgent bass and a gentle groove. Kiku’s vocals are whispered, with a sense of the sinister about them. One suspects there’s some revenge being planned.
