Blueburst is the performing name of singer songwriter Craig Douglas Miller and guitarist Marty Willson-Piper. They’ve featured on this blog several times now, and Jane’s even recently interviewed Craig about the project. Their latest is their fifth single, and their final release ahead of their album in September. It’s called Senseless.

Senseless opens with a sombre but memorable guitar riff. It lilts pleasantly somewhat disguising the depths of its lyrics that delve deep within and creates an emotional and honest story. It’s the kind of vulnerability we are used to from Craig’s song writing.

Blueburst’s debut album Significance is on its way soon and based on the evidence so far it’s going to one not to miss. You can check out Senseless below.
