Los Angeles, USA-based alternative pop artist Kapture has featured on this blog a couple of times before now. I first discovered her music in May thanks to her track New Beginnings, then followed that up with a share of Without You in June. Her latest sees her team up with Trans-pop icon Jamie Love. It’s called Compare To Me.

Compare To Me is a dance track, but one that’s a little different from the mainstream. Kapture’s attitude-filled vocals are there are usual, and the lyrics cut like diamonds. On production is Sam J Garfield and he makes Kapture’s sound really pop, with the perfect mix of old school and modern elements. As the track progresses, there’s twists and turns aplenty.

Kapture is really slaying it at the moment. Fans of hip-hop and pop should absolutely be picking up what she’s putting down. I expect a bright future for her.
