Ireland-based alternative rock act Under Starling first hit our radar in April this year thanks to their incredible EP Portals. Since then, I’ve been eagerly anticipating new music from them, and they’ve delivered with their new track Wojtek.

Wojtek is a track that combines experimental electronica with moody rock and roll creating something that feels very fresh and interesting. A vibrant intro gives way to a stripped-back verse where soulful vocals take centre stage. As we hit the chorus, the instrumentals regroup and we get some beautifully psychedelic lyrical poetry, tackling the topic of social anxiety.
