London-based alternative pop singer Mari Dangerfield has been a feature on this blog since 2021 when I ran the rule over her album Love And Other Machines. More recently, I shared her EP Eco-Fever. Its title track comes complete with a video which I thought you just had to see.

As you might guess, Eco-Fever is about the climate crisis. The title track is a bright moment of the EP’s story, celebrating the world’s natural beauty. Its video is similarly joyous. We see Mari surrounded by plants and clips of cute animals. All the while, she gives us charisma in her performance of the song. It’s enough to bring a smile to your face.

Mari delivers such a compelling style of pop, and brings with it an important message and a unique viewpoint. She truly is one to watch.
