Linden is a Brighton-based alternative pop songwriter who has just come to my attention thanks to her Tarot-inspired new track The Man in the Garden.

Linden has a penchant for all things mystical and draws inspiration from mythology, the divine and the occult. Yet, there’s something distinctly human about her sound. The Man in the Garden opens with haunting ambience but what captivated me most were her compelling vocals. They deliver a cryptic and thought-provoking story, full of imagery and poetry. I’ve really not heard much like it, and I can’t wait to delve further into the sonic world of Linden.
