Teenage, Los Angeles, USA-based singer songwriter Edie Yvonne first hit my radar in July thanks to her lyrically astute track In The Rain. Now she’s back with new one that’s beautifully ponderous. It’s called On Your Mind.

On Your Mind is about a particular relationship, one that’s a contradictory mix of closeness and distance. Its emotional story is wonderfully articulated, backed by a lively country pop rock arrangement. It’s all over in less than two minutes, but the depth of emotion in the track make it feel like an epic. It’s another strong effort from this young artist.
