American singer-songwriter Tessa Rae brings something a little different to the indie-pop genre with her new tune, Sick Love.

Sick Love is a stripped-down track, opening with a slow piano melody, underpinning Tessa’s soft vocals well. There’s something of a retro sound to the way Tessa sings, as well as the main chord sequence she uses. However, despite sounding fairly simple at first, the track has a subtle beauty, really allowing you to take notice of the lyrical wordplay used here. Sick Love is one of the best songs I’ve heard in recent months, so don’t miss out and check it out below!
