Sydney, Australia-based psychedelic rock artist Morrison Reed has become something of a regular feature on this blog. We’ve been covering his music since 2021 and each new track of his brings something exciting. His latest is no exception. A dark hip hop track, it’s called Blood Money.

Blood Money absorbs you instantly with its floating electronica and dirty hip-hop percussive beat. It’s a track that sits somewhere in the nether world between genres, as we’ve come to expect from Morrison, but what isn’t in doubt is the track’s ability to build atmosphere and Morrison’s poetic, visceral lyrical storytelling.
