New Music: Lissy Taylor – Feel For Me

Lissy Taylor first hit our radar in September last year when she featured as part of Jane’s Female Voices round up. Jane was so taken with her that she even posed her some questions in a Q&A. Now it’s my turn to share some of her music. Her latest is called Feel For Me.

Feel For Me is a hard-hitting indie anthem that opens with big riffs before developing into an urgent groove. Lissy’s vocals are beautifully compelling, understated but brimming with a demanding energy. A catchy chorus is reminiscent of her namesake, American artist and York Calling favourite Lissie.

It’s been a big year for Lissy, with a tour in May and her debut appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival. She’s back on the road at the moment, with September dates in Manchester and Sheffield.

Feel For Me was written by Lissy and produced by Gareth Nuttall. You can check it out below.
