If you’ve been following our blog over the past year or so, then you’ll certainly have seen the name Emmrose before. We’ve featured her music five times since we discovered her back in May 2022 and she never fails to delight. Her latest is called Waiting for Nowhere.

Waiting for Nowhere is a song about being stood up on a date, based on a real experience Emmrose had in Union Square in her native New York City, USA. It’s a moody number, delicately absorbing in a way that only she can manage. Vivid imagery brings the track’s emotional story to life.

Still young, Emmrose continues to impress us with her own unique brand of acoustic folk pop. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before her name is plastered everywhere, and whoever stood her up will surely regret it.
