Charlotte Lansman is a London-based, Bristol-born artist who has just caught my attention thanks to the first single release from her debut EP, which is set for release in early 2024. The single is called Stupid Love and is a celebration of all those feelings and times where you’re falling in love and you can’t help but feel joy about it.

As you would expect, Stupid Love is an upbeat song. A stripped-back and jazzy intro sets the early pace before a retro groove kicks in. Charlotte’s vocals are certainly the star of the show – they’re beautifully smooth and expressive. They articulate the emotional story of the track perfectly. The track’s bouncy chorus is the highlight.
