Bristol-based rock band Mother Vulture first came to our attention at the end of last year. Their track Monster Crunch impressed me with its pure punk form. We followed that up with a share of their album Mother Knows Best, and now they’re back on the blog for the first time this year. Described as their “biggest, fattest, meanest offering yet”, it’s called Go Big or Go Home.
By Graeme Smith
Go Big or Go Home opens with some monster riffs and relentless energy. Expressive, screamed vocals are the order of the day. Mother Vulture hold nothing back on this record. If you like your rock on the hard and classic side, then look no further. With the evidence so far, it’s easy to see why this band had been championed by the likes of Classic rock and Kerrang.
Go Big or Go Home was produced by Adrian Bushby, a Grammy winner who has previously worked with Foo Fighters, The Darkness and Muse. You can give the track a listen below.
